Can I make multiple reservations under the same name?
Our Internet site will allow you to make multiple reservations under the same name but room reservations will contact you via e-mail for names of the guests occupying the rooms.

How do I add an additional name to a reservation?
If you booked directly through Tradewinds, please call (868) 652-9463. If you booked through a travel agency, please contact them directly.

Is late check out available?
Late check out at 3 p.m. is available for a fee. Please call (868) 652-9463 for availability and rates.


How do I obtain a confirmation for my room reservation?

If your room reservation was booked online, a confirmation will be e-mailed to you. If you booked your reservation over the phone, please call (868) 652-9463 and a confirmation can be emailed to you.


How do I make changes to my room reservation?
If booked directly with Tradewinds, please call (868) 652-9463 for information about changes, requests, restrictions and cancellations.


What is your cancellation policy for individual hotel reservations?

Tradewinds requires a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled arrival date for a a full refund.

How do I reserve 10 or more hotel rooms?

How much does it cost to park my rental vehicle?
Tradewinds offers free self-parking.

Do you offer Internet service in the guest rooms?
Yes, high-speed internet access is available at no cost. Internet access available in English.

Do you have a pool or fitness facility?
Yes there is a pool & Cyborg's Gym & Fitness Center. Guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age to use the gym facilities.

  • Do you have childcare?
  • Tradewinds does not offer childcare.


Are pets allowed?
No, with the exception of assistance animals. Please be advised the tropical temperatures are very high and heat buildup in cars could kill animals.

Do you rent wheelchairs or auto-chairs?
Yes, however availability is limited and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you do require mobility assistance please contact the Front Desk for more information upon arrival.

Can I send and receive faxes at the hotel?
Yes. Contact our Front Desk upon arrival for our fax availability and prices.

There is a fee to receive/send faxes; these prices are subject to change at any time.

Is transportation available to/from the airport?
Yes. The Tradewinds Hotel uses a 12-seater bus for guest pickup from Piarco International Airport to our Hotel. There is a minimal charge for the service. We offer guests a complimentary drop-off to Piarco for our guests daily at 4:45 am. The front desk must be notified 12 hours in advance if you require this service. See our front desk to arrange convenient airport pick-up and drop-off at other times.

Go to our reservations page and book your guaranteed place on the bus. Please make sure to give us your flight details. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not reserve a seat we cannot guarantee that you will get one!

Is there a rental car agency in the hotel?
No. But several Rent A Car companies are within close proximity to Tradewinds. Upon arrival contact the front desk for more information on Rent-A-Car companies.

What is the typical temperature in Trinidad?

Please note all temperatures given in Fahrenheit. The temperature ranges from around 75 in the cooler (rainy season) to around 100 in the warmer (dry) season.

How can I make tour and travel arrangements?
Our front Desk can assist you with obtaining information about touring the Trinidad Zoo, Bird Sanctuary, Pitch Lake, several beaches, historic sites like Fort George, lopinot, museums and other attractive surrounding areas.

Do you have a golf course?
No, Tradewinds does not have a course. However for those wanting to play a few rounds, please ask at the front desk.
